If you like Goldie Hawn, you might like her daughter, Academy Award Nominee and Golden Globe Winner, Kate Hudson. She co-stars with Matthew McConaughey in "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days." Andie (Hudson) is a columnist for a magazine called "Composure."

She gets an assignment to write an article about ways that women turn off their partners. In order to write the article, she needs to find a guy who is willing to be her boyfriend. The plan is to make his life miserable so he will break off with her. Benjamin Barry (McConaughey) becomes her victim.

Unbeknownst to her, Ben has an assignment of his own — make someone fall in love within 10 days. Each writer doesn’t know the other is just working on an assignment and each believes the other is sincere in their courtship. The film is quite funny, and if you like romantic comedies, you’d enjoy this one.
